I think I have been doing yoga all my life in some form or other. I dabbled with Transcendental Meditation in the 70’s and my first regular practice was with the book by Richard Hittleman called Yoga 28 Day Exercise Plan.

My first real yoga class was Ashtanga which I took for a couple of years until Inner Fire Yoga came along. I did a lot of Hot Yoga and then started teaching it and went to a 200 hour teacher training. I decided, through personal experience, that yoga was a strong healing art as well as fun, so I did a 300 hour training in Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy and worked with some amazing teachers such as Dr. Richard Miller, Shar Lee, Jnani Chapman, among others. I have done workshops with Seane Corne, Nicki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Paul Grilley, Jonny Kest, and Rolf Gates.
Most recently I received a certificate for completing Ana Forrest’s Advanced Teacher Training. It was a profound experience.Currently, the Forrest style resonates the most in my teaching but I continue to look for my next teacher. My own practice is my priority and basis for teaching. I like to challenge myself and my students to find our edge and beyond.
