Louise Gilbertson
Inner Fire Yoga TeacherWhen I was young, I would tag along with my mom and her friends to yoga classes. After over 15 years of competitive and classical dance training, I was looking for a way to incorporate my creative movement practices into life beyond the dance studio.
Eventually, I decided to take this further and fully immerse myself in the ideas of yoga. I began practicing every day. My yoga practice was a perfect balance for me of the movement I craved and an ongoing opportunity for personal growth.
In the spring of 2021, I completed my 200-hour training, began teaching, and haven’t looked back since. Teaching and practicing yoga has been a blessing and gives me the grounding I need to show up for myself and others.
Through all the directional changes my life has taken since that training, yoga has been a consistent source of fulfillment. It has given me the tools to help friends and family reach success in their well-being. It has also given me summers teaching yoga in the mountains at a ranch in Montana. These opportunities, along with many others, inspire me to help others find their sanctuary and sense of self in yoga.
