Standard of service

Inner Fire Yoga is committed to providing an excellent standard of service with fair and balanced business practices demonstrating leadership in the market. We are committed to cultivating and maintaining a safe, healthy, inclusive environment; free from discrimination.

We endeavour to provide advance notice of updates to our class schedule by posting the seasonal schedule for viewing in-house, on our social media platforms and on our website. We reserve the right to modify the class schedule without notice.

Clients

Pre-registration is Required

Advance online registration at least 15 minutes before class is mandatory. Book classes in advance via the Walla app for iOS or Android, or via our Schedule page.

You must arrive on-time in order to guarantee your spot in class. Arriving late could forfeit your spot if there is a waitlist for the class.

Class capacities are limited according to fire safety codes. If a class is at capacity, additional patrons will not be permitted to take the class.

Waitlist Policies

If a class is at capacity, you may add yourself to a waitlist for the class. Waitlists are capped at 10 people.

If a spot opens up and you are next in line on the waitlist, you will be automatically added to the class roster. If/when this occurs, you will receive a notification as per your communications settings (via email; also via text for those opted-in to SMS communications).

IMPORTANT: When you add yourself to a waitlist, you are committing to attending the class if a spot opens up for you. Waitlisted individuals can be added to the class roster right up until the class start time. Once you are added to the class roster, all usual late-cancellation / no-show penalties will apply (see below). As such, if you are on a waitlist and you reach a point where you will not be able to make it to class if you are added to the roster, you should REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE WAITLIST so as not to incur any no-show penalties. Once you do so, any payments made or passes used to reserve your spot on the waitlist will be refunded to the original payment method.

Waitlist reservations can be cancelled just like a regular class: in the Walla app for iOS or Android or via the My Account page.

Late Cancellation Penalties

If you reserve a spot in a class but can no longer make it, you must cancel your reservation online within 2 hours of the class’s scheduled start time to avoid the following penalty:

  • Members (any autopay plan), Student Semester Passes, and other unlimited passes: a $10 fee will be charged to your card on file.

  • Class Packages (ie. Zen Ten) and Drop-Ins: the class is deducted from your account as if you had attended.

Class reservations can be cancelled in the Walla app for iOS or Android or via the My Account page.

No-Show Penalties

If you reserve a spot in a class and do not arrive for class, the following penalty will apply:

  • Members (any autopay plan), Student Semester Passes, and other unlimited passes: a $15 fee will be charged to your card on file.

  • Class Packages (ie. Zen Ten) and Drop-Ins: the class is deducted from your account as if you had attended.

If you believe you were charged a fee incorrectly or unfairly, please reach out to us via info@innerfireyoga.com to discuss the charge.

Class Cancellations by Inner Fire Yoga

If a class is cancelled by the studio for any reason, you will receive an automated message via email and/or text, depending on your notification settings. You can also check our website or social media platforms for last-minute updates to the schedule.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Severe weather or snow may disrupt our normal class schedule due to power outages or transportation and safety issues.

In the event of strong winds, freezing rain, and/or snow, classes may be cancelled at the last minute. We will always try to give as much notice as possible. If Madison Police or WI Highway Patrol have issued a driving emergency due to snow or ice, classes will likely be cancelled.

Early morning classes may be cancelled without much notice if snowfall overnight is likely to affect vehicle transportation in the morning.

Power Outage Cancellations

Your health and safety are our priority and we are committed to providing a consistently high standard of service, which includes a relatively regulated equation of heat and humidity. In the event of a power outage, classes may be cancelled until power is restored within a minimum of two hours prior to the next scheduled class. In the event of a heating system failure, classes may be cancelled until the issue is resolved. Please check our website and/or social media platforms for updates.

Teacher substitutions

The scheduled teacher posted online may change without notice due to last-minute teacher substitutions. You will receive a notification via email and/or text (depending on your notification preferences) in the event of any teacher substitutions for classes that you are pre-registered for.

Our teaching schedule is available online for convenience, but is subject to change without notice. Please note that teacher substitutions may occur at the last minute and the online schedule may not be updated immediately.

In the event of a last-minute teacher emergency during which a substitute teacher cannot be found for a class, the class may need to be canceled without notice. Please make sure you are receiving emails and/or texts from us in order to be notified in a timely fashion should a cancelation event affect your scheduled class.

Services

For the purpose of our policy statements, “Service” means any client pass; including drop-ins, new student offers, unlimited terms, monthly contracts, payment plans, class packages, and workshops. “Service” may also include passes obtained through gift certificates, coupons, special offers, and vouchers and is therefore subject to all policies regarding services provided by Inner Fire Yoga.

Refunds and transfers

Inner Fire Yoga’s Services and Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-transferable and may not be shared unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policies

Events, workshops, group classes and private yoga classes have a strict 48-hour cancellation/change policy. Cancellations/changes made within this 48-hour time period are considered a late cancel and are non-refundable.

Pricing

We strive to keep our service pricing fair, competitive, sustainable and relevant to the market, while also accurately reflecting the value of our services. We always do our best to provide advance notice of any pricing updates, but our pricing may change without notice.

Credit/Debit Only

Cash is not accepted.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early (15 if brand new) to every class. Students will not be permitted to enter classes more than 2-3 minutes late.

Classroom Etiquette

Classes can sometimes be tight, please be mindful of those next to you and make room as needed.

Please stay in the yoga room for the duration of class, unless you are experiencing an emergency. If you cannot make it for the entire class, please choose another time to practice that better fits your schedule.

Please follow the class sequence as cued by the teacher. If needed, you may modify the poses in accordance with your teacher's guidance. Practicing an entirely different sequence than the rest of the students in class is considered disruptive behavior.

Please do your best to remain quiet & meditative while in the yoga rooms.

Electronic devices

The use of cameras, smartphones, tablets, etc. is strictly prohibited during yoga class. Special exceptions (ie. family emergencies, doctors on-call, etc.) must be approved by the teacher. Smartwatches, fitness trackers and heart rate monitors must be in do-not-disturb mode with all notifications turned off.

Age restrictions

All participants in any class or other enrollment event must be 18 years old to practice without parent/guardian consent. Any person 17 years and under must have a parent or guardian’s legal consent in order to participate in any class or enrollment event.

Youth under the age of 12 may be required to have supervisory accompaniment by a parent or guardian to any class or event. Please note: studio staff may not assume a supervisory role for children.

Studio access

The studio is open 25 minutes before and 15 minutes after class. Availability of the premises is subject to administrative limitations. In general, the premises are not available to be used as a waiting area to anyone who is not participating in an upcoming class while the room is still in use (some exceptions may apply at the discretion of the appointed administration).

Lost or stolen items

Clients are fully responsible for their own personal belongings. Inner Fire Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items and/or damage to personal property. Inner Fire Yoga staff follow a strict security protocol at all times and will endeavor to reunite clients with lost or misplaced items whenever possible by maintaining a designated lost and found collection area.

Clients are responsible for claiming personal property left behind. Our lost and found collection is emptied once/month. Any unclaimed items will be donated to local charities.
