Inner Fire Yoga ReceptionistI had always been curious about yoga, but I didn't explore it much until around 2020. It was a time when I was feeling overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, and a little lost. I sought solutions to help me feel better during such dark, confusing times. I was craving connection while being isolated at home, and yoga helped me find that connection within myself.
I never expected the impact that yoga would have on me. Not only did it help my mental health immensely, but I also felt more comfortable in my own skin than ever before.
Yoga opened me up to a holistic approach to healing and self-care. Practicing yoga helps me stay present and deepens my appreciation for what my body can do. I have learned so much about myself along my yoga journey, and every practice allows me to go deeper and learn even more. This inspired me to enroll in teacher training, and I cannot wait to help others develop their own passion and healing through yoga.
In September 2024, I moved to Madison, and I knew right away that I wanted to get involved in the yoga community. I noticed that Inner Fire was just a few blocks from my new place, so I reached out, took my first Inner Fire Flow, and instantly felt like this could be my new home away from home. Everyone has been so welcoming, which is very comforting while adapting to a lot of change. I feel very grateful to be part of the Inner Fire community and am beyond excited to see where my yoga journey continues to take me.
When I'm not doing yoga, I love spending time outdoors (practicing yoga outside is my favorite!), enjoying live music, connecting with friends, brewing kombucha, and cuddling up with my cats.
