The first time I stepped into IFY was back in 2011 (when there was only one location!). I was going through some tough times, and a friend suggested I try hot yoga, convinced it would help me feel more centered.
Back then, I only did hot yoga, and I remember being very committed when taking the summer challenges. I would even do two classes a day sometimes just to put those stickers on the board and complete the challenge!
While I started with hot yoga, today I find myself enjoying the power classes more. I find them challenging, fun, and very rewarding. The playlists are always the cherry on top for me as well.
Yoga is the only workout I've found that I can stick to with discipline. It has helped me gain confidence and discover a strength I didn't know I had. Yoga is my safe space, and I love sharing it with so many wonderful yogis and considerate teachers.
Shout out to Claire, who I'm sure has never received a hateful remark after class!
